And so it happened. The friend zone. I visited there today myself, and here to tell you it will all be fine.
You, who read this, have experienced it at one end of the spectrum or the other; you were either friend zoned, or you were the one zoning another person. I am here to tell you it will all be over soon enough.
You may say to yourself “I hurt this person”, or else “I was hurt” by another. Stop your middle class whining. Stop throwing a pity party. Stop your incessant complaining on social networks. (inb4hypocrits) Get over it and move onwards.
Can people not see the reality of it all? The universe will provide what we need, not want. We are not some protein mass and dust hurled together. We are humans. We are 4 billion years of evolutionary success. Do you think you got zoned for a reason? No. It is because you were bound for better. You CAN do better. One way or another, it was done out of the benefit of another.
So stop crying to your friends. Stop the remorseful, teenage angsty attitude. Get over it. Get on with your life, and realize in this vast, infinite universe, YOU CAN DO BETTER. So what, you zoned someone? They need to realize it was not meant to be for them. Situations don’t always work out in their benefit. In a reciprocal manner, those who were zoned need to accept things. You learned a life lesson. There are 7 billion people out there. Are you going to tell me you can’t find someone else?
Oh, but wait, you loved this person! You cared for them. In some instances, you gave yourself to them. Boo. Fucking. Whooooo. Be alpha as fuck, get out there, and get on with life. You were born to be here for, if you’re lucky, 100 years. Don’t waste that time. Enjoy it as it is! Ignore the friend zone, or loss of a love, and get on with life.
